Moving away from the recent trend of clamshell-only form factors for high-end handsets, Samsung has now introduced its first candy bar style mobile phone with a built-in camera. That's not all, however, as according to Samsung, the dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz SGH-X600 also comes with built-in flash.
Sporting a 16-bit display capable of displaying up to 65,536 colours at a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, the SGH-X600 is a step away from how Samsung has preferred its most recent high-end phones to be made: as clamshells. Clearly aimed at consumers, the new handset offers broad messaging support with both SMS, EMS and also MMS under its belt - the latter of which supports sending and receiving messages up to 80 KB in size.
